I am in love with the Activist Sea to Skin Cleansing Gel! It has a unique gel/cream texture, unlike any other cleansing balm I’ve tried. It has a soft, cool, creamy feel and is easy to apply with a lovely ocean scent that dissipates after rinsing. It easily breaks up all my makeup (including stubborn mascara and eyeliner) and leaves my skin feeling super soft.  The Activist Sea to Skin Cleansing Gel naturally changes from cerulean blue to sea green in response to contact with light and air. This is because the color comes from spirulina extract, not artificial dyes. Activist also has a fabulous Refill Subscription program where you can save while cutting down on environmental waste. How To Use:

How I use this cleansing gel: If I have a lot of makeup on, I use this instead of an oil cleanser – I massage it into my dry face and rinse with water before following up with another cleanser. If I don’t have a lot of makeup on, or if I want to keep it simple and reap the benefits of the moisturizing effects of the cleansing gel, I simply rinse with water or use a wet washcloth to gently remove everything. This is a great less-is-more cleansing option that leaves my skin silky and moisturized.
From Activist Skincare: “Start with dry hands and massage onto dry face, concentrating on areas with makeup. Rinse away makeup and impurities.”

*Ingredient Note: This product contains Di-PPG-2 Myreth-10 Adipate, which I normally would recommend skipping (especially in American products) however, I have been told by Activist that their “supplier performs purification processes and third-party testing to ensure that Sea to Skin Cleansing Gel contains <1ppm (less than one part per million)” of the impurity (1,4 Dioxane) I would normally be concerned about. This is well below the EU requirements, which I am satisfied with. Activist Skincare has a helpful blog post with more information about their safe use of this ingredient here.
