The Honest Beauty Save Face Shielding Setting Spray is my go-to setting spray for a longer makeup wear time. It’s especially helpful after I apply powder, as it takes away any dry/powdery look to my face, which can happen after applying powder. Honest Beauty formulated this setting spray with active ingredients that include a “sugar shielding blend that acts as a weightless second skin,” while extremolyte (a stress-protection molecule) helps to defend against blue environmental pollutants.
There aren’t a lot of clean setting sprays out there, and you want to be careful which one you choose, as some ingredients, like titanium dioxide, should not be inhaled. As far as I can tell, this one does not contain any of those ingredients!
How I Use It:
When I am done with my makeup, I hold this about half an arm’s length away and spritz it all over my face with my eyes closed. Then, I fan my face for a few seconds to help it dry.
