The r.e.m. beauty Sweetener Concealer is a lightweight, medium-buildable-to-full-coverage cream concealer. I hesitate to call it a “cream” concealer because it is so weightless. I find this formula to be very pigmented and brightening with a soft matte finish. It is formulated with r.e.m.’s “hydrasmooth essence” – a blend of hyaluronic acid, ashwagandha & vitamin E to help give the skin a smooth appearance. It comes in a whopping 60 shades. I chose the shade 10p, but I think the shades may run a little light. I probably could have gone with 7c, 8w, or 9p.

How I Apply It
- Since a little goes a long way, I apply it using this detail concealer brush on the inner corner of my eye and in the outer ridge of my under-eye circle, and blend inward using this concealer brush. Then, I spot conceal around the under-eye ridge if necessary See this this video for a demo.
- It does settle a little into my under-eye lines, but less so than other cream concealers I’ve used. To minimize creasing I use as little product as possible on areas with deeper lines, and I use my method in this video using this powder and powder puff.
