The Rose Inc Softlight Clean Dewy Hydrating Concealer is a lovely medium-buildable-to-full-coverage liquid concealer that I typically do not need to powder, as it self-sets with a radiant finish. I love that it settles less than most liquid concealers I’ve used, doesn’t highlight my fine lines, and stays on all day. The doe foot applicator is quite large, so I use this detail concealer brush to apply it (see below for more info on how I apply it). Since I don’t really need powder to keep it on all day, I powder all the cream products on my face with this finely milled finishing powder when I use this concealer, to pull everything together. It comes in 17 shades. My shade is LX 030.
How I Apply It
- Since a little goes a long way, I apply it using this detail concealer brush on the inner corner of my eye and in the outer ridge of my under-eye circle, and blend inward using this concealer brush. Then, I spot conceal around the under-eye ridge if necessary See this this video for a demo.
- To minimize any settling/creasing I use as little product as possible on areas with deeper lines, and I use my method in this video using this powder and powder puff.
